We have made our way up to Mussoorie and are currently visiting Dane, Ryan's brother, who is here teaching for 2 years at an international school. He is stationed 7000 feet above sea level right in the Himalayas. It is beautiful!!!! We have done some day hikes from here and it is getting us even more excited for Nepal. It has been great to be out of the hustle and bustle of the cities and take a few relaxing days in the mountains to reflect on how amazing the trip has been so far. Just before we headed up, we did a 3 day camel safari based out of Jaiselmer. It was such a fun and unique way to see the Thar desert. We were in a group with two Irish girls with whom we really got along with. We slept under the stars right in the sand dunes while all our food was prepared on an open camp fire by our camel driver, Poosaram.
Each experience continues to add to an amazing trip. India is such a unique place where anything can happen and does!
